The Mary J. Blige Center for Women recently opened in Yonkers, New York. The center is a partnership between The Foundation For the Advancement of Women Now (FFAWN) and Westchester Jewish Community Services (WCJS). Creative director for Gucci, Frida Giannini, Blige and Steve Stoute gathered for the opening.
"The center has three central goals: to educate, empower and encourage women, noted Blige."
Giannini has designed a limited edition, stainless steel women's watch, with a portion of the proceeds to beneifit FFAWN. The watch, which retails for $1,895, is available at Gucci stores, gucci.com and select department stores.
